The Successful Cooperation with Nanxiong Zhuji Paper Co., Ltd.

Before 2013, Shaoneng Zhuji Paper Industry was mainly engaged in the production and processing of pulp board and offset paper.

In recent years, due to the sluggish market and low product added value, the company had been in a loss-making state. In order to reverse the passive operating situation, in 2013, Zhuji Paper stopped producing traditional products with weak competitiveness and switched to high value-added differentiated products. The products were adjusted to produce healthy and environmentally friendly natural color household paper.

After research and development, Zhuji Paper Industry was the first in China to use bamboo pulp as raw material (the raw material formula is currently being patented), and developed healthy and environmentally friendly natural color household paper. It also passed the US FDA and EU AP (2002) Level 1 food grade certification.

Natural color household paper adopts new bio-pulping technology, without adding bleaching agents throughout the process. By extracting natural plant fibers such as bamboo, it maintains 100% of the natural color of the plant fibers. It is a new generation of healthy and environmentally friendly paper products with original pulp and original color, which is pollution-free and harmless to the environment and human body.

Zhuji Paper plans to invest in the construction of the first phase of the natural household paper project in 2014. According to the project feasibility study report, the first phase of the project will first install two paper machines (with a capacity of 30,000 tons/year), equipped with a set of post-processing production sections and equipment with a capacity of 15,000 tons/year, and the construction period will be about 12 months; the first phase of the project investment is estimated at 178.9 million yuan. After the project is completed, the annual operating income is expected to reach 596.41 million yuan and the net profit is 50.8958 million yuan.

As a benchmark bamboo pulp toilet paper project in China, the project is implemented with high standard and quality from design concept to production equipment. The project was designed by Changsha Light Industry Design Institute, and the selected instruments are all international first-line brands, including ABB transmitters, British SUTTIMAX valves, and Siemens control systems. 

The No. 1 toilet paper machine of Shaoneng Zhuji Paper Industry provided by ANDRITZ was successfully started in late June 2016, marking the official start of production of the natural household paper project of Guangdong Shaoneng Group Nanxiong Zhuji Paper Co., Ltd. The paper machine used in this project is the crescent toilet paper machine of ANDRITZ Group, with a speed of 1,600m/min, a width of 2,850mm, and bamboo pulp as raw material. The paper machine is equipped with a steel drying cylinder with a diameter of 3,650mm.
