(3) Whether the packing is outdated and ineffective. If there is damage, it should be replaced in time;
(4) After the valve repair and assembly, the sealing performance test should be carried out.
Valves in operation, all kinds of valves should be complete and intact. The bolts on the flange and support are indispensable, and the threads should be intact and not allowed to loosen. If the tightening nut on the handwheel is found to be loose, it should be tightened in time to avoid wearing the connection or losing the handwheel and nameplate. If the hand wheel is lost, it is not allowed to use a adjustable wrench instead, and it should be matched in time. Packing caps are not allowed to skew or have no preload clearance. For valves that are easily contaminated by dirt such as rain, snow, dust, wind and sand, the valve stem should be installed with a protective cover. The scale on the valve should be kept complete, accurate and clear. Valve seal, cap, pneumatic accessories, etc. should be complete and intact. The thermal insulation jacket should be free of dents and cracks.
Do not knock, stand, or support heavy objects on operating valves; In particular, non-metallic valves and cast iron valves should be prohibited.
